Alpha and Omega is an upcoming 3-D computer animated film produced by Crest Animation Productions and Richard Rich, director of The Fox and the Hound, and is scheduled to be released by Lionsgate Family Entertainment. The film is directed by Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck, starring the voices of Justin Long, Hayden Panettiere, Christina Ricci and Dennis Hopper.
The film is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2010. It will be shown in a 3-D format.

Plot

Kate (Hayden Panettiere) and Humphrey (Justin Long) are two wolves from the same pack in Canada's Jasper National Park, but on opposite ends of the social order. Kate, daughter of the main alpha male, is herself an Alpha and does what one should: taking her duty and commitment to the pack seriously. Humphrey, on the other hand, is an Omega wolf, the lowest of the pack, and spends his days making jokes and playing about with his other Omega friends. One day, Kate is arranged to mate with the Alpha male of a rival pack to preserve peace. However, both Kate and Humphrey are sedated and taken far away from home to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Idaho where they are expected to repopulate their species. Instead, the two wolves who should never find themselves socializing with each other embark on a journey together to return home and save their pack before relations between rival packs come to a boil. But there is a problem: along the journey, Kate and Humphrey have fallen in love.

Synopsis

Along with a host of other patients, Craig meets a girl, Noelle, who coped with a history of sexual abuse by cutting her face with scissors. In isolation from the outside world, and with help from Noelle, Craig confronts the sources of his anxiety and regains his health. During his recovery, Craig experiments with art, specifically stylized maps, and discovers he has a great deal of natural talent and ability. Once Craig has recovered, his counselor suggests he transfer to an art school, a thought that excites Craig. He returns home at novel's end having undergone a mental shift, and determined to enjoy life.

Photoshop For Beginners - The 6 Most Important First Steps

Most people want to do special effects with Photoshop but like all tools capable of advanced work, it pays to get the essential basics under your belt first. Here is my recommended list of the 6 basic essentials any Photoshop beginner should learn:

1. Learn the image analysis tools - The Histogram, The Eyedropper, and The Info Palette

These three tools provide you with essential information about your image or photograph. The Histogram will tell you everything you need to know about the exposure of the photograph, whether it is under or over exposed, and the tonal range. The Eyedropper tool will give you valuable information about the colours in the image; especially if there is a colour cast (a colour cast is an undesirable overall dominant colour) you need to correct. The Info palette (or window) will provide numerical feedback when using the eyedropper and also when using other tools. This is an important reference for advanced work so is worth getting to know at the start.

2. Learn how to straighten a tilted image - Use the ruler to find the angle of tilt.

Learning to use the Ruler tool will allow you to determine precisely the angle of a tilted horizon and this can then be used with the Rotate canvas command to rapidly correct a tilted image. No guesswork needed! With so many people using cameras with only viewing screens at the back rather than a proper viewfinder, it has become all to common for pictures to come out of the camera with a severe tilt to them. Learning to use the ruler and rotate canvas combination makes correcting these pictures really easy!

3. Learn to crop the picture - Use the Crop tool

Cropping is the process of removing anything from around the edges of a photo that does not add to the impact of the photo. The Crop tool should be learned next since cropping is a very important creative process. There are very few photos that cannot benefit from being cropped. Too many Photoshop beginners just accept the content of the photo as it came from the camera without thinking about whether the picture can be improved visually by cutting away unnecessary edges. The additional benefit of cropping the picture early is that you also reduce the file size which makes further changes to the image run much faster since you are using less memory and disk space.

4. Learn to remove dust marks and blemishes - Use the Healing Brush and the Clone Stamp tools

Even with modern sensor cleaning built-in, you may find your image contains dust marks or other blemishes. These will often be seen in areas of smooth tone such as a clear sky. These should be removed using the Healing Brush tool, especially useful on smooth colour and tones like skies, and the Clone Stamp tool. The Clone Stamp tool is essential for removing or correcting areas of detail which the Healing Brush tool quite often just messes up. Get a grip on these two important tools quickly so you can really clean up your important images.

5. Learn to correct the tonal values - Use the Levels command

The next logical step is to correct any exposure problems or tonal range issues. If the picture is too dark or light now is the time to correct it. To do tonal corrections you need to learn to use the Levels command. The levels command uses a histogram to show the tones so your previous learning from Step 1 above will really help you now. I told you it was a logical learning sequence!

6. Learn to remove colour casts - Use the Colour Balance command

Although modern cameras make a reasonable job of interpreting the colour of light reaching the sensor, they also often get it wrong which results in a photo with an obvious dominant colour. This is known as a colour cast and needs to be removed using the Colour Balance command. Once a dominant colour has been corrected you are ready to make more creative colour enhancements if desired.

There you have the six most important things for a Photoshop beginner to learn. Each of these steps can be mastered quite quickly and the knowledge gained will provide a solid foundation for all your future Photoshop work; whether you just want to improve a family snap or produce an advanced special effects work of art.

Walaupun berkompetisi kami tetap SAHABAT.. Brandon : JP : Fay

Ketiga peserta IMB JP millenix, Brandon de angelo dan Fay nabila patut diancungi jempol, ikatan persahabatan mereka sangat erat. Mereka saling mendukung satu sama lain, walaupun disatu sisi mereka harus tetap berkompetisi antar satu dengan yang lain dalam menunjukan bakat-bakat luar biasa mereka.

Walaupun Peserta IMB Fay nabila telah keluar, bukan berarti jalinan persahabatan mereka menghilang begitu saja. Fay nabila tetap mendukung teman-temannya untuk menunjukan yang terbaik buat pemirsa dirumah Tepatnya untuk indonesia. Banyak moment dan pelajaran yang mereka dapatkan di IMB. Brandon dan JP sangat sedih atas keluarnya Fay di Putaran Final IMB, sebenarnya aku juga sedih...T_T...Fay kan keren banget....padahal aku ini kan Faynatic..Yo weslah nggak apa2... JP ma brandon juga bagus kok... Si cadas JP dalam menabuh drum yang luar biasa hebatnya, dan terus melatih temponya agar terus lebih baik. begitu juga dengan Brandon yang selalu berkharisma ketika lagi ngedance....Semuanya sudah punya bakat alami masing-masing.

Lanjut lagi....Brandon dan JP sangat merindukan si tukang malas bangun Fay nabila. Jp bilang, "aku kangen banget sama si Fay, biasanya kita pergi tidur bareng ke wc bareng...aku rindu sama gigi besarnya.." Fay juga sebaliknya, kangen ama si gigi besar Jp..rupanya mereka berdua saling mengagumi gigi masing-masing...Akh...walaupun giginya besar tapi kalo dah gede pasti cantik....Masih kecil aja dah keliatan cantiknya.... Kembali ke laptop..Si brandon juga kangen sama si Fay, katanya sih dia kangen si Fay soalnya si Fay cerewet. Dan karna kejelekan2 itulah mereka saling memahami satu sama lain..

Satu lagi.... aku sedih liat JP ma Brandon waktu diwawancarai nangis-nangis liat Fay keluar...Brandon juga nangisnya kasian banget sampe sesak-sesak gitu...anak kecil nih memang kalo sedih nggak bisa nipu. expresinya memang....yah memang nangis....(nggak jelas banget) ok deh sampe sini saja...sukses buat kalian bertiga, walaupun ada yang keluar, itulah kompetisi, yang keluar bukan berarti kalah, mungkin hanya kemenangan yang tertunda...teruslah berjuang....teruslah berkarya demi indonesia...saya tau kalian masih bisa lebih lebih lebih dari yang sekarang. IMB memang TOP dah,..!!!!!

Karna sekarang pakita so ada mood mo batulis yang funny2....jadi sakarang qta mo share deng ngoni2 samua soal Mop papua.. asli betul qta nyanda ada darah papua, tapi kalo deng soal mop papua....hmmm qta paling tanaga nona/nyong... ini qta kasi sadiki dia pe cerita e....ngana simak baik2....

Ocep Beli Koka Kola Tiga Saja...

suatu hari, diyaklep pu rumah. panas terik ampe udara panas yang tra jadi punya masuk sampe ke dalam rumah. jadi, yaklep suruh dia pu anak laki2, yosepus untuk pergi beli coca cola. di dalam rumah tuh dorang ada 4 orang, yaitu yaklep, yakomina, yakobus dan yosepus sendiri. yoepus nih baru umur 5 tahun.

yaklep : ocep, ko pergi beli koka kola dikios depan dulu. (coca cola, red)
yosepus : sip bapa...!!!

karena yosepus su bilang sip, jadi yaklep langsung kasih uang Rp.20.000 ke yosepus. tapi, yaklep masih ragu dengan yosepus karena yosepus masih kecil. trus, yaklep tanya ulang lagi apa yang mau di beli tadi...

yaklep : ocep, ko ingat eee... ko beli koka kola satu buat bapa, satu buat mama, satu buat kaka, dan satu buat ko... jadi nantiko beli koka kola berapa???
yosepus : tiga bapa...!!!
yaklep : ahhhh....ko bodok skali!!!! ko bli satu buat bapa, satu buat mama, satu buat kaka, trus satu buat ko. jadi semuanya brapa???????
yosepus : ocep bli koka kola tiga bapa...!!!
yaklep : adooohhh...!!!!!

karena yaklep su jengkel, yaklep langsung pukul yosepus dengan sapu lidi kecil sampe yosepus menangis tabongkar...

yaklep : ko nih tra tau menghitung ka...!!! ko bli koka kola buat bapa, mama, kaka,dengan ko itu semua jumlahnya empat...!!! bukan tiga...!!!
yosepus : (sambil menangis) ocep beli koka kola tiga saja. ocep mau fanta bapa...!!!
yaklep : kenapa ko tra bilang dari tadi....

Yaklep Pu Hidung Keluar Daerah

suatu hari, yaklep sakit trus tra bisa bikin apa2 di rumah. yaklep kalo sakit pu manja saja eee.karena yaklep pu maitua sayang yaklep, jadi yaklep langsung di bawake rumah sakit. sampe di rumah sakit, dokter langsung periksa yaklep. su periksa lama, dokter langsung geleng2 kepala trus pergi kasih tinggal yaklep dan keluarganya. pas dokter jalan baru beberapa langkah, yaklep pu istri yakomina langsung tahan dokter...

yakomina : bahh...dokter, sa pu suami kenapa???
dokter : hmm...tidak apa2 bu. suami ibu hanya butuh istirahat saja.
yakomina : trus kenapa dokter geleng2 kepala...???
dokter : saya heran saja. suami ibu hanya demam, tp manjanya seperti sedang sakit keras...
yakomina : sa pu suami begitu sudah...!!!

karena ikut permintaan dari yaklep, akhirnya dokter mengijinkan supaya yaklep di rawat di rumah sakit.

keesokan hari, yaklep ada tidur di tempat tidur. di dalam kamar perawatan trada orang. yakomina dan yakobus ada pulang kerumah sebentar. begini, yaklep pu demam naik lagi, trus tambah dengan siang terik yang tra main2. karena yaklep pu badan tra tahan panas yang tinggi, akhirnya yaklep mimisan. darah keluar sedikit2 dari lobang hidung. pas yaklep lihat darah, yaklep langsung gemetar setengah mati. yaklep tra tau kalo orang pu badan panas tuh bisa mimisan. yaklep takut kalo sampe kena penyakit parah.

tra berapa lama, yakobus datang keruangan perawatan duluan. yakobus kaget setengah mati pas lihat yaklep pu hidung su badarah...

yakobus : bapaaa..... bapa kenapa...???

yaklep su tra tau mo jawab apa. ditambah lagi dengan gugup karena lihat darah jadi yaklep su bicara takaruang...

yaklep : adooohhh.... tra tau nih. bapa sakit sampe hidung keluar daerah...!!!!

Yakobus Beli Pisang Goreng Di Laut

suatu hari, yaklep dengan anaknya yakobus berencana akan mangail (mancing,red) di laut. dorang dua sudah siapkan semua perbekalan. mulai dari alat pancing, umpan, kranjang ikan,dll. tapi, ternyata yaklep sama yakobus lupa untuk bawa persediaan makanan. karena merasa semua peralatan sudah siap, dorang dua langsung saja yancap gas ke pantai untuk naik perahu.

pas su sampai ke pantai, lihat ke arah laut begini air meti (surut,red). yaklep pikir2,trapa apa2, yang penting dorong perahu sedikit ke pinggir pantai baru langsung dayung ke tengah.

yaklep n yakobus su dorong perahu sampe nafas mo putus. pas perahu su sampai di air, dorang dua langsung dayung ke tengah. su dayung lama, tapi macam air tetap dangkal. yakobus dan yaklep juga su rasa lapar. pas cek perbekalan makanan,yakobus baru ingat klo trada makanan...

yaklep :yakobus, ko coba cek makanan di tas dulu...
yakobus : yaaahhh....bapa, sa tra bawa makanan yang tadi mama su kasih siap.!!!
yaklep : adooohh....ko bodok skali...!!!

akhirnya dorang dua dayung sambil tahan lapar saja. su dayung lama, dan merasa air cu cukup dalam untuk mancing, akhirnya dorang dua berhenti dan buang umpan.

yaklep duluan yang buang umpan, sedangkan yakobus baru mau pasang umpan. pas yakobus raba2 di tas, ehh...ternyata ada dapat pisang goreng yang su dibungkus dengan kantong pelastik. pisang goreng cuma satu, tapi nanti klo yakobus kasih lihat, pasti pace yaklep langsung minta. jadi yakobus pikir2 cara supaya pace yaklep tra minta pisgor itu...

yakobus : bapa, sa turun ke bawah dulu eee...!!!
yaklep : ko mau bikin apa???
yakobus : sa mau bli pisang goreng di bawah dulu...!!!
yaklep : ko gila ka...???
yakobus : bapa tra tau ka, di bawah tuh ada pasar. jadi sa mau turun untuk beli pisang goreng dulu...

yakobus langsung turun lewat pinggir perahu pelan2. tapi pisang goreng yang ada di kantong plastik su ada di pinggir celana. pas su sampai di bawah, yakobus kasih keluar pisang goreng yang tadi sudah disisip di pinggir celana n langsung naik kembali ke perahu.

yaklep : eehhh....ko dapat pisang goreng itu dari mana???
yakobus : jiii....sa su bilang, dibawah tuh ada pasar. dorang ada jual pisang goreng juga...
yaklep : aahhh...yangbe...??? (yang betul???,red)
yakobus : bapa tes sudah...!!!

tra tunggu lama lagi, yaklep langsung tikam ke laut dengan kepala duluan. eeehhh.....pace yaklep lupa kalo air laut ada surut, jadi pasti dangkal. tapi su terlambat. pas lompat dari perahu dengan kepala duluan, batu karang tajam su tunggu di dasar. pace yaklep langsung kopeng (sundul,red) karang itu dan kepala juga bocor n darah keluar. yaklep tindis gas keatas n langsung naik ke atas perahu...

yaklep : yakobus, cepat balik ke darat!!!
yakobus : bapa, kenapa kepala bisa bocor begitu???
yaklep : addoooohhhh...ko ini...!!! tadi anak2 pasar ada keroyok bapa... katanya ko ambil pisang goreng tapi ko belum bayar...!!!!

Lagi bingung nih mau tulis apaan....
tapi kali ini aku mau nulis soal anjink aja deh...bacanya jangan salah yah..ntar dikirain maki nanti..

Aku punya teman yang punya anjink lucu...(itu menurutku)...kalo teman-teman yang lain bilang anjinknya sih bermuka aneh... PUG...itu jenis anjinknya, ada dua ekor betina ma jantan...yang jantan namanya Cito yang betina Namanya Cipluk trus yang punya namanya Sury ma Fenti. Nggak kenalkan??? (nggak penting deh).

Sebelum cerita banyak, kita cari tau dulu yah mengenai anjink jenis PUG. Sejarahnya sih anjink PUG dipelihara sama kaisar-kaisar tiongkok pada masa dinasti Shang (1776-1122 SM) di Tiongkok Timur, dengan dikenal dengan nama Lo-Chiang-Sze atau Foo. Jauh beda yah dengan nama PUG. Aku juga nggak ngerti kenapa bisa beda namanya. terus Kepopuleran pug menyebar sampai Tibet, terutama banyak dipelihara oleh para biksu, dan kemudian dibawa ke Jepang dan akhirnya Eropa (Wikipedia).

Nah sekarang ke bentuknya dan modelnya. Anjink pug berperawakan pendek dan merupakan anjing jenis toy terbesar dikelasnya. Rata-rata anjing jenis toy memiliki berat badan dibawah 6 Kg. Kepalanya berbentuk kotak dan berhidung pesek. anjink Pug memiliki beberapa warna yaitu ada yang silver, hitam, brindle(belang) dan fawn.

Sifat Pug tuh aktif, senang bermain, manja banget kalo ada tuannya tapi tetep mandiri kok kalo lagi nggak ada tuannya. Jadi bagi yang nggak suka capek, jangan pelihara anjink jenis pug soalnya udah tau sendirikan Pug tuh hyperaktif, tambahan lagi bagi yang nggak suka bau anjink, Pug punya bau yang khas jadi kalo sensi ma bau-bau yang aneh2, dipikirin dulu yah... Tambah lagi...tambah lagi....Anjink pug tuh suka ngorok..waakkakakakakkakaka... Jadi rindu nih ketemu ma cipluk n cito.

Plot

Plot
On a farm in Britain during World War II, Mrs. Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is driven to her wits end by her hectic life. Between trying to keep the family farm up and running and her job in the village shop, aided by the elderly and slightly mad Mrs. Docherty (Maggie Smith), she also has three boisterous children to look after, Norman (Asa Butterfield), Megsie (Lil Woods) and Vincent (Oscar Steer). All of this she has to do while her husband is away at war. So when her children's two spoiled cousins, Cyril (Eros Vlahos) and Celia (Rosie Taylor-Ritson) are sent to live on their farm and another war is being fought between the two sets of children, she is in need of a little magic. She hears a mysterious voice telling her that she needs Nanny McPhee and to her astonishment, Nanny McPhee appeared on her door step one stormy night.
Nanny McPhee (Emma Thompson) arrives to take matters into her own hands. At first, the children do not listen and carry on fighting, but after a bang of Nanny McPhee's stick, they soon realize that they cannot go on fighting, and the two eventually learn to tolerate each other. For instance, Megsie gives Celia some of her best clothing when the ones she brings are ruined, which had made her resort to wearing their mother's wedding dress. Meanwhile, Mrs. Green's brother in law, Uncle Phil (Rhys Ifans), has gambled away the farm and is being chased down by two hit women. He desperately attempts to make Mrs. Green sell her half of the farm, using many mean and spiteful schemes to make Mrs Green have no choice but to sell the farm. His plans include digging a hole so that the family piglets can escape. Mrs Green takes all the children on a picnic during which an ARP Warden, Mr. Docherty (Sam Kelly), warns them all about bombs and how he imagines a pilot might accidentally release his bomb in the remote area in which the family lives. At the end of the picnic Uncle Phil delivers a telegram saying that Mr. Green has been 'killed in action' in the war. Mrs Green believes the telegram, along with everybody else. But Norman says that he can "feel it in his bones" that his father is not dead. He tells this to Cyril, who at first says it is just because he is upset, but then agrees to support and help Norman to determine the truth. So the two boys decide to ask Nanny McPhee to take them to London to the war office where Cyril and Celia's father works.
They travel to London with Nanny McPhee and ask Cyril's father Lord Grey (Ralph Fiennes), who is very important in the War Office, what has happened to Mr Green. At first he scoffs at Norman when he tells him about his disbelief of his father's death, but after Cyril angrily informs his father that he knows that his parents are getting a divorce, Lord Grey goes to check what has happened. While he is gone, Cyril tells Norman that he and Celia have been sent away because their parents will be splitting up, and Norman asks where Cyril and Celia will live. When Cyril replies "with Mum I suppose, not that it makes much difference, she only ever really sees us when she wants to show us off", Norman tells Cyril that he and Celia are welcome to go and live on the farm with the Greens. Cyril's father returns and tells Norman that his father is not listed as K.I.A, but M.I.A and that there is no record of a telegram ever having been sent to Mrs Green.
The boys then leave and Norman works out that the telegram brought to his mother by Uncle Phil was in fact a fraud, the meanest of all Uncle Phil's attempts to get Mrs Green to sell the farm. While the boys were at the War Office, Megsie, Celia and Vincent were trying to stop Mrs Green from signing the papers and selling the farm, Just as Mrs Green is about to sign the papers, a huge bomb is dropped, but does not explode and is sticking out of the barley field. When Nanny McPhee returns with Norman and Cyril, the children go out to watch Mr. Docherty dismantle the bomb, but he falls from the ladder and faints, and Megsie takes over. She succeeds with the help of the other children and Nanny McPhee's putty eating bird, Mr. Edelweiss. Nanny McPhee then helps to harvest the barley, with a little magic, and she and Mrs. Docherty, who seems to be familiar with her, watch the family celebrate. During their conversation, it is revealed that Mrs. Docherty is, in fact, baby Aggie from the first film; Mrs. Docherty says to Mr. Docherty "Nanny McPhee hates 'goodbyes', I remember from when I was young' and she then holds the rattle she had as a baby seen in the first film. 'Nanny McPhee lives by a rule 'when they need her but do not want her, Nanny McPhee must stay. But when they want her but no longer need her, Nanny McPhee must go.' As Nanny McPhee walks away from the now happy family, the children and Mrs. Green chase after her, determined to prove they still need her. However they discover that they in fact do not, as they round a bend to see that their father is descending from the hill, passing Nanny McPhee along the way. Mr. Green (Ewan McGregor) in army uniform and with an injured arm, runs to the arms of his children and wife and rejoices in the discovering that after leaving three children to go to war, he has returned to find five.

Plot

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction— Horcruxes. Cast

Jason Isaacs considered not returning for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before the book was released, as he was worried that the senior Malfoy would have very little screen time due to the character's imprisonment in the previous story. Meeting JK Rowling at an awards dinner he fell to his knees and said "Get me out of prison, I beg you." Ms. Rowling reassured Isaacs by looking over her shoulder and mouthing "You're out. Chapter One." Isaacs signed onto the film immediately afterward.
Joshua Herdman announced on 9 August 2009 that Jamie Waylett would not be reprising his role as Vincent Crabbe for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Waylett's character would instead be written out and his role in the plot taken over by Herdman's character.
Director David Yates has announced that, for the final scene in the film which is set nineteen years after the film's main story, older actors will not be cast to play the main characters. Special effects will be used to depict the cast members as adults. Furthermore, it appears that a mixture of visual effects and make-up will be used to make the actors in the Seven Potters scene look like Daniel Radcliffe.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is an upcoming 3D science fiction action horror film written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, and starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller, Kim Coates, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe and Shawn Roberts. It is the fourth installment in a series of film adaptations based on Capcom's survival horror video game series Resident Evil. It is also the first film in the series to be released in 3D. In the film Alice search and rescue remaining survivors in Los Angeles of the T-virus outbreak, who team up against Albert Wesker, the head of the Umbrella Corporation.
In May 2005, producers mentioned the possibility of following Resident Evil: Extinction with a sequel titled Afterlife. Extinction was released in 2007 and was a box office success prompting Afterlife to begin development in June 2008, with the script being written by Anderson that December. Elements from Resident Evil 5 were incorporated into the film.
Chris Redfield, a primary character from the video games will be featured for the first time in the film franchise. Other characters from the games and films who return include: Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker. Filming took place in Toronto from September to December 2009 using James Cameron's 3D Fusion Camera System. The film is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3-D theaters on September 10, 2010.

Milla Jovovich as Alice: The primary protagonist of the film, she is a former Umbrella Corporation security officer whose exposure to the T-Virus granted her superhuman abilities. Since her escape from Raccoon City, she has been hunted by Umbrella, who intends to use her DNA in order to control the virus' mutation.Alice seeks to "settle her score" with Umbrella and it's elusive chairman, Albert Wesker.
Ali Larter as Claire Redfield: Chris' younger sister. She lead a convoy of survivors who encountered Alice in the previous film. In Afterlife, Claire mysteriously finds herself alone in the woods and suffering from amnesia.
Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield: Claire's older brother. He is working with an unnamed military organization combating the infected. Chris and his unit were using a Los Angeles prison as a base of operations, before it was overrun and he was imprisoned.
Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine: A former STARS operative who assisted Alice and escaped Raccoon City in Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Guillory, who portrayed the character in Apocalypse, will reprise her role in the film.
Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker: The primary antagonist of the film, he is the Chairman of the Umbrella Corporation. He has been tracking Alice in order to discover means by which the T-Virus mutation can be controlled. His office is located in Tokyo, Japan, and he communicates with the company's other branches via holographic technology. Similar to his video game counterpart, Wesker possesses superhuman strength, speed, and regenerative capabilities.
Spencer Locke as K-Mart: Named after the department store she was discovered hiding in, K-Mart was a member of Claire Redfield's convoy of survivors in the previous film.
Boris Kodjoe as Luther West: An ex-pro basketball player and the leader of the survivors of Los Angeles. Kodjoe trained for six weeks and did his own stunts. He dislocated his knee in the course of filming while trying to kick in a gate.

Bagi yang belum pernah ke sulawei utara, nih aku kasi sedikit tentang lokasi dan tempat wisata dari keindahan sulawesi utara...

DANAU LINOW
Danau kecil ini unik karena mengandung kadar belerang tinggi ini memiliki warna yang selalu berubah tergantung pada sudut pandang dan pencahayaan danau. Di sekitar danau ini terdapat satwa endemik berupa burung blibis dan serangga yang oleh penduduk setempat dinamakan "sayok" atau "komo". Serangga unik yang hidup di air tapi bersayap dan bisa terbang ini menjadi konsumsi penduduk setempat. Kadang-kadang terdengar kicauan burung-burung kecil dan burung putih besar yang melintasi danau.

PEMBUATAN RUMAH KAYU TRADISIONAL
Tempat pembuatan rumah kayu traditional yang menarik ini berada di desa Woloan. Rumah dengan menggunakan sistem knock-down ini dirancang untuk dapat dibongkar-pasang agar dapat dibawah untuk dibangun kembali di tempat yang diinginkan oleh pembeli.

AMFITHEATER WOLOAN
Di lokasi Woloan Tua (Kelurahan Woloan I) terdapat Amfitheater terbuka dengan pemandangan indah yang dijadikan tempat pertunjukkan tarian dan musik asli Minahasa serta acara khusus. Amfitheater ini dikelilingi oleh banyak waruga yang masih berada dalam posisi aslinya. Di tempat ini masih terdapat sekitar 100 waruga. Dan setiap tahunnya diadakan "Mera Waruga" atau upacara pemindahan Waruga dari lahan penduduk ke Ampfitheater.

KAWASAN RUMAHMAKAN TINOOR
Dari Kawasan Rumah Makan Tomohon akan terlihat jelas hamparan kota Manado, serta teluk Manado yang dihiasi gugusan pulau Manado Tua, Bunaken, Siladen, Mantehage.

GUNUNG LOKON
Gunung Lokon yang masih aktif menyajikan panorama pegunungan yang luar biasa dan lahar yang telah membatu memanjang berkelok sampai ke dekat kawah yang sering mengepulkan asap (dengan jalan kaki cepat hanya memakan waktu 45 menit). Kadang-kadang gunung ini menunjukkan aktivitasnya dengan menyemburkan abu sampai ke wilayah-wilayah pemukiman di sekitarnya.

GUNUNG MAHAWU
Di sisi yang berlawanan berdiri saudaranya, gunung Mahawu. Lerengnya yang landai menawarkan perjalanan yang kurang menantang namun akan tertebus dengan pemandangan yang mengesankan karena kita bisa melihat Tomohon, Tondano, Manado, Bitung dan Taman Laut Bunaken. Di dalam kawahnya yang bisa dikelilingi dengan cukup mudah tersembunyi danau hijau zamrud yang beruap dengan simpanan belerang berwarna kuning.

AGROWISATA RURUKAN
Terdapat di sebelah timur Kota Tomohon, ke arah gunung Mahawu terdapat lokasi agrowisata, dengan hamparan kebun pertanian yang dikelola oleh penduduk setempat secara tradisional. Dengan peralatan sederhana lokasi pertanian ini terletak diantara lereng-lereng bukit yang dibuat bedengan-bedengan secara terasering, pada saat tanaman holtikultura ini mulai tumbuh, akan melahirkan pemandangan indah yang menyejukkan. Tempat ini juga berudara sejuk dan nyaman.

BUKIT DOA "MAHAWU"
Terdapat di lereng gunung Mahawu dari Desa Kakaskasen II, dibuat lokasi jalan salib serta di puncak terdapat Gereja. Lokasi ini baru selesai dibangun, dan telah diresmikan oleh Gubernur Sulut Drs SH Sarundajang dan diberkati oleh Uskup Manado Mgr Yosep Suwatan MSC. Banyak dikunjungi oleh pesiarah terutama di Bulan Oktober dan Bulan Mei.

AIR TERJUN KALI
Air terjun yang cantik, tenang dan sangat mengesankan berada di desa Kali.

GUA JEPANG
Peninggalan bangsa Jepang berupa sejumlah gua yang dibangun di masa Perang Dunia Kedua. Suatu kenangan yang menakutkan dari salah satu pergolakan dalam sejarah Indonesia.

DANAU TONDANO
Danau bersejarah dan terbesar yang terbaring di salah satu dataran tinggi Minahasa ini sungguh layak untuk dikunjungi.Padang-padang yang hijau yang melebar sampai ke tepi danau dan sejumlah restoran bermenu ikan bakar tersembul di tepi danau dimana Anda dapat menyantap ikan mas bakar yang dihidangkan dengan kangkung tumis. Jangan lupa mencoba dabu-dabu, sambal pedas yang terbuat dari irisan cabe, tomat dan bawang merah.

WARUGA
Di Airmadidi terdapat banyak waruga, kuburan kuno nenek moyang orang Minahasa yang dibangun sejak zaman megalitikum. Bentuk bangunannya sungguh unik, berupa batu berbentuk kotak yang dilubangi dan diberi penutup patu yang dibentuk seperti atap rumah.

RAFTING
Salah satu petualangan yang paling menegangkan dan spektakuler di Sulawesi Utara. Perjalanan menelusuri sungai ini akan memakan waktu kira-kira satu setengah jam dan pada akhirnya Anda akan meminta untuk diulangi sambil berteriak.

TAMAN NASIONAL LAUT BUNAKEN
Taman Laut Bunaken Disahkan sebagai Taman Laut Nasional sejak tahun 1991, tempat ini telah disebut-sebut sebagai salah satu wilayah selam penting di jagad raya ini.Hanya dengan berkendaraan selama 40 menit dari lokasi resort ke salah satu pusat layanan selam atau ke pelabuhan, dimana perahu kano atau kapal bermotor siap meluncurkan Anda ke pulau Bunaken hanya dalam waktu lebih kurang 45 menit.
Taman ini mencakup lima pulau yaitu Bunaken, Siladen, Manado Tua, Montehage dan Nain yang mana setiap pulau menyajikan sejumlah lokasi diving dan snorkeling yang bervariasi. Tebing curam khusus di teluk kecil Liang termasuk langka di dunia dan dikatakan spektakuler secara antusias karena menyimpan gua, selokan dan lubang-lubang kecil tempat berlangsungnya suatu kehidupan laut yang melimpah ruah. Ikan-ikan dengan warna-warna brilian bolak-balik di antara liukan-liukan terumbu karang yang lembut di dalam air yang jernih dan hangat. CAGAR ALAM TANGKOKO-BATUANGUS
Cagar alam ini terhampar dari tepi pantai sampai ke gunung-gunung dan merupakan rumah bagi sejumlah flora dan fauna. Ada monyet hitam, burung maleo, ular, babi hutan, babirusa, burung rangkong, tetapi daya tarik utama diberikan oleh sejenis kera kecil yang melakukan aktivitasnya di malam hari. Bentuknya yang sangat kecil untuk ukuran kera membuatnya disebut kera terkecil di dunia dan menarik untuk dilihat.
Lokasinya berada di utara Bitung dan meliputi area sebesar 3.196 hektar. Perjalanan ke tempat ini mungkin cocok bagi para petualang karena perjalanan sampai kesana memerlukan waktu sekitar tiga jam dan akan melewati satu kawasan berpasir dengan jalan berbatu. Tapi bagi mereka yang siap untuk melakukan perjalanan seperti ini, daya tarik hutan menunggu.

WISATA BUDAYA
1. Kedaton Sultan Ternate
Dibangun pada tanggal 24 November 1813 oleh Sultan Muhammad Ali diatas bukit Limau Santosa dengan luas areal 44.560 m2. Berbentuk segi delapan dengan dua buah tangga terutama pada sisi kiri dan kanan depannya. Bangunan ini menggambarkan seekor singa yang sedang duduk dengan dua kaki depan menopang kepalanya. Didalam kedaton tersimpan benda-benda peninggalan milik kesultanan yang khas serta bernilai sejarah antara lain mahkota, Al-qur’an tulisan tangan yang tertua di Indonesia serta berbagai peralatan perang. Di depan istana terhampar lapangan Sunyie Ici dan Sunyie Lamo yang biasanya dipergunakan untuk prosesi upacara adat.

2. Masjid Sultan Tidore
Adalah salah satu bentuk bangunan mesjid yang menggambarkan kejayaan kesultanan Tidore dimasa lampau dan keempat kesultanan Islam yang ada di Maluku Utara.

WISATA ALAM

1. Pulau Dodola
Pulau ini tidak berpenghuni, terletak didepan Daruba, Morotai Selatan sekitar 5 km. Kedua pulau ini dikelilingi oleh pasir putih yang panjangnya 16 km, dapat dicapai dengan motor lokal dari Daruba. Selain pulau Dodola, terdapat juga pulau-pulau kecil lainnya yang tak kalah menariknya seperti pulau Kokoya, Ngele-ngele, Gab-gab yang terletak disekitar pulau Dodola.

2. Pantai Manaf
Salah satu obyek wisata yang banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat Sanana. Lokasi pantai terletak kurang lebih 11 km sebelah selatan dari ibukota kecamatan.

3. Danau Duma dan Makete
Terletak di sebelah utara Kec. Galela Kab. Halmahera Utara tepatnya di lokasi agro perkebunan pisang calvendis. Lokasi ini dapat dicapai dengan berbagai jenis kendaraan dari ibukota kecamatan dengan jarak 8 km.

4. Danau Ngade dan Danau Tolire
Dapat dijumpai di pulau Ternate. Di sekeliling danau terdapat panorama alam yang menarik seperti tebing, tumbuh-tumbuhan air. Dapat ditempuh dengan kendaraan umum selama 20 menit dan pusat kota.

5. Kepulauan Kayoa
Terdapat gugusan kepulauan yang sangat menarik perhatian para wisatawan karena dihampir setiap pulau memiliki berbagai jenis karang yang indah dan biota laut serta berbagai jenis ikan yang jumlahnya cukup banyak. Di gugusan kepulauan ini, pulau yang paling sering dikunjungi wisatawan adalah pulau Lelei dan Gura Ici karena disekitar pulau ini memiliki pasir putih yang halus dan taman laut yang indah.

6. Air Terjun Cibi Cebi
Dengan ketinggian 14 meter mengalir ke sungai Waci dan bermuara ke pantai antara dua desa yaitu desa Waci dan Petelei, Kab. Halmahera Timur. Untuk mencapai air terjun menempuh jarak ± 7km dari Waci dengan menggunakan perahu bermotor dalam waktu 30 menit. Buaya, Gurame dan Bandeng adalah penghuni sungai Waci.

7. Pulau Maitara dan Tidore
Pulau Maitara adalah salah satu pulau dengan panorama indah yang terletak antara Pulau Tidore dan selatan Pulau Ternate dimana sebagian lingkaran pantai berpasir putih dan terhampar didepannya alam bawah laut dengan keanekaragaman ikan serta karang yang masih terpelihara dengan balk. Pulau ini dapat dijangkau dengan speed boat hanya 10 menit dari pelabuhan bastiong Ternate.
Pulau Tidore penuh dengan wisata petualangan mendaki gunung berapi Kiematubo (1.730 m). Gunung yang belum banyak dirambah orang ini menawarkan petualangan yang mengasyikkan . Ada juga Desa Gurubunga yang alamnya sangat indah, tenang dan asri, serta Desa Topo untuk agrowisata.

8. Pulau Bobale
Terdapat di Kecamatan Kao dan memiliki pasir putih yang halus dan indah akan lebih menarik setelah berenang dan menyelam menikmati karang serta peninggalan PD II.

9. Pantai Kupa-kupa dan Luari
Terletak di Tobelo, Halmahera Utara. Memiliki pasir putih dan laut yang bersih dengan keindahan taman lautnya. Dapat ditempuh dengan transportasi umum. Selain kedua pantai tersebut didepan kota Tobelo dapat dijumpai pulau Kakara, Tagalaya dan Tupu-Tupu yang memiliki pasir putih dan taman laut yang indah.

10. Pulau Makian
Adalah salah satu pulau yang pernah diduduki oleh bangsa Portugis karena hasil cengkih. Pulau ini juga memiliki gunung api yang bernama Kie Besi. Juga terdapat beberapa tempat wisata seperti air panas di desa Pawate, bentangan pasir yang bersih dan keindahan alam bawah laut, serta keindahan gunung Kie besi.

11. Pulau Sambiki
Salah satu pulau diantara gugusan Kepulauan Obi dengan keindahan pantai pasir putih yang mengitari pulau serta keindahan alam lautnya yang sangat menarik. Pulau ini pernah dikunjungi oleh wisatawan mancanegara dengan kapal pesiar tahun 2001 lalu.

12. Pantai Cobo
Terletak di sebelah utara Pulau Tidore yang terkenal dengan keindahan pantainya. Dari tempat ini dapat dilihat pulau-pulau lain disekitarnya seperti Halmahera.

13. Pulau Zum-Zum
Terletak di depan kota Daruba, Morotai Selatan jarak kira-kira 2 km, sebuah pulau kecil dengan pasir putih yang indah. Di pulau ini juga sebagai tempat peristirahatan Jenderal MC Arthur, pimpinan pasukan Sekutu pada perang dunia II. Hingga saat ini masih dijumpai sisa-sisa peninggalan perang.

14. Pulau Mare
Pasir putih Pulau Mare bagian dari harmonisasi yang nyaris sempurna dan pasti membuat wisatawan berdecak kagum menginjakan kaki di tempat ini. Betapa tidak sebuah destinasi dengan kemilau pasir putih dan terhampar didepannya alam bawah laut yang kaya akan aneka ragam jenis ikan dan terumbu karang aneka warna yang kesemuanya tampak alami. Lokasi ini kira-kira 4 mil sebelah selatan pulau Tidore dan sangat mudah dijangkau dengan menggunakan speed boat dari

C. WISATA SEJARAH

1. Benteng Oranye
Dibangun pada tahun 1607 oleh Cornelis Matclief de Jonge (Belanda) dan diberi nama oleh Francois Witlentt path tahun 1609. Benteng oranye ini semula berasal dari bekas sebuah benteng tua yang dibangun oleh Bangsa Portugis dan dihuni oleh orang Melayu sehingga diberi nama benteng Melayu. Dalam benteng ini pernah menjadi pusat pemerintahan tertinggi Hindia Belanda (Gubernur Jenderal) VOC Pieter Both, Herarld Reyist, Laurenz Reaal dan J.C Coum. Di benteng ini pula Sultan Mahmud Badarudin II (Sultan Palembang) diasingkan di Ternate pada tahun 1822 hingga meninggal dunia pada tahun 1852 dan makamnya terletak di perkuburan islam di sebelah barat kelurahan Kalumpang Ternate. Letak benteng ini berada di pusat kota dengan kondisi fisik masih utuh, di dalam benteng ini sekarang ditempati oleh kesatuan POLRI dan Angkatan Darat.

2. Benteng Kalamata
Sering disebut Benteng Santa Lucia atau juga disebut benteng Kayu Merah. Benteng ini semula dibangun oleh Piyageta atau Portugis pada tahun 1540 kemudian dipugar oleh Pieter Both, bangsa Belanda pada tahun 1609. Pada tahun 1625 benteng ini pemah dikosongkan oleh Geen Huigen Schapen. Benteng yang dikosongkan ini kemudian diduduki oleh bangsa Spanyol hingga tahun 1663 setelah diduduki oleh Belanda. Benteng ini diperbaiki oleh Mayor Von Lutnow pada tahun 1799. Nama benteng Kalamata diambil dari nama seorang Pangeran Ternate yang meninggal dunia di Makassar pada bulan Maret tahun 1676. Benteng ini terletak di sebelah selatan pusat kota Ternate dan berjarak 3 km dan dapat dicapai oleh kendaraan darat. Kondisi fisik benteng ini sekarang sangat baik karena selesai dipugar tetapi tampaknya nilai keasliannya telah diubah karena ada kesan seperti bangunan baru.

3. Benteng Bernaveld
Terdapat di Desa Labuha Kec. Bacan yang menurut tokoh masyarakat setempat benteng tersebut dibangun oleh bangsa Portugis pada akhir abad XV yang hingga kini kondisi fisiknya 7O% masih baik.

4. Benteng Tolukko
Semula dibangun oleh Fransisco Serao, seorang berkebangsaan Portugis, pada tahun 1540 kemudian direnovasi oleh Pieter Both, bangsa Belanda, pada tahun 1610. Benteng ini sering disebut benteng Holandia atau Santo Lucas, yang terletak di bagian utara kota Ternate. Benteng ini oleh Pemerintah Hindia Belanda pada tahun 1661 mengizinkan Sultan Mandarsyah untuk menempatinya dengan kekuatan pasukan sebanyak 160 orang. Benteng ini berada di Kel.Dufa-Dufa yang berjarak ±3 km dari pusat kota Ternate dan dapat dicapai dengan kendaraan darat. Kondisi benteng saat ini baik, karena baru saja dipugar, walaupun cara pengerjaannya masih kurang memuaskan sebagai suatu benda peninggalan sejarah masa lalu.

5. Benteng Kotanaka
Dibangun oleh Pemerintah Hindia Belanda pada abad ke 18. Letaknya disamping kanan sebelah utara Kedaton Sultan Tenate, diatas sebuah bukit. Benteng ini diberi nama sesuai nama sebuah mata air yang berada di sekitarnya. Di pusat kota Kec. Sanana (Desa Mangon) tepatnya didekat pelabuhan ada sebuah benteng peninggalan penjajahan bangsa Belanda, nama benteng tersebut adalah Dever Lacting Acting luasnya sekitar 2750 m² dengan ukuran 50 X 55 m², benteng ini didirikan pada tahun 1652 oleh seorang berkebangsaan Belanda, Victor Moll nama pendirinya. Sebagaimana benteng-benteng lain, benteng ini pun telah mengalami kerusakan, volume kerusakannya diperkirakan sekitar 60%.

Tepatnya di Desa Kusu Kec. Kao terdapat sebuah lapangan terbang dan 4 buah meriam antik beserta sebuah bunker bekas peninggalan bala tentara Jepang pada Perang Dunia II sekitar tahun 1942. Di lokasi ini pula pernah dikunjungi oleh wisatawan Jepang dalam bentuk rombongan untuk berjiarah.

The Image Adjustment Lab and New Histogram in Corel Photo Paint X4

The Image Adjustment Lab is an area within PHOTO-PAINT that allows you to make global changes, correcting the color and tones of most images quickly and easily. Before using the Image Adjustment Lab, it's best to do any cropping or retouching beforehand.

Also, if you have any masking to do, it's a good idea to do that beforehand as well. Since the Image Adjustment Lab will make global corrections to your images, masking off the areas that you don't want to be color corrected is important. My suggestion is to take only the areas that you want corrected and copy those sections as separate Objects (layers).

Features

Some of the features of the Image Adjustment Lab allow you to:

Look at a before and after preview of the section you're working on.
Create an Auto Adjustment (which is often a correct color balance or very close to it the first time you use it).
Set a White and Black Point.
Make global corrections such as Temperature, Tint, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows and Midtones.
NEW: The Real-Time Histogram allows you to edit images with greater accuracy. The histogram lets you know if the highlights or shadows will be clipped and it also shows you if the dynamic range has been expanded too much (which may create a posterizing effect). It's recommended that you use the automatic features first. If they don't give you the result you're after, then you can start experimenting with the various sliders.
Use the Create Snapshot feature to take snapshots of your work in progress. These are displayed below the working image, allowing you to keep track of your adjustments. If, for any reason, you don't like the changes, you can click on a previous snapshot to restore the color balance or you can access the Click to Reset button to start over from the beginning. These features make it relatively easy to manipulate images, but it's easy to get caught up in the features and lose track of what you're doing. I recommend that you keep a notebook handy when working on images (especially when working on a complex project) and take note of the settings. These will come in handy when you work on a new project with similar issues.

To access the Image Adjustment Lab, go to the main toolbar and click on Adjust: Image Adjustment Lab. This brings up the Image Adjustment Lab dialog box.

The Controls

At the top of the dialog box are a number of tools which govern navigating your way around the dialog box.

These are the Rotation tools, the Pan tool, the Zoom tools (zoom in/out, fit in window (F4) and display image at normal size) and the Preview Modes.
On the right hand side are the automatic and manual controls which are organized in a workflow order for image correction. Essentially, you start in the upper right hand corner and work your way down. These sliders (which include the option for numeric entry include: Auto-adjust, Temperature, Tint, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows and Midtones.
The Auto adjust button is often the only tool you'll need. It corrects the lightest and darkest areas and adjusts the tonal range in each channel.
The White/Black point automatically adjusts the contrast in the image. The black/white eyedroppers also create some tonal neutrality in the image and aren't just for setting the white/black points.
The Temperature slider corrects the color casts by "warming" or "cooling" the color casts in the image. This allows you to compensate for lighting issues at the time the photography was taken.
The Tint slider governs the green and magenta in an image and is the control you would use after the Temperature slider to fine-tune the image.
The Saturation slider controls how vivid your colors are. Moving the slider to the right increases the effect while moving it to the left decreases the effect.
The Brightness slider controls the overall brightness or darkness of an image.
The Contrast slider contros the difference in tone between the light and dark areas of an image. Use of this control can mute colors or increase image detail.
The Highlights slider controls the brightness in the lightest areas of the image. Here, you would also use the Midtones and Shadows sliders to fine-tune the image. Of the next two controls the Shadows slider lets you adjust the brightness in the darkest parts of the image, while the Midtones slider controls the brightness in the midrange tones of an image.
Directly below these controls are the Real-Time Histogram, the Hints pane and the Create Snapshot button. As mentioned earlier, the histogram lets you know if the highlights or shadows will be clipped and it also shows you if the dynamic range has been expanded too much (which may create a posterizing effect).
The Hints pane gives you information about each slider and gives information about how to use them. To see the corresponding hint for a given slider, hover your mouse above the slider and the information will appear.
Below is the Create Snapshot button. This is used to preserve details of the changes you make as you go through the process of correcting an image. Each snapshot contains the detials of your changes. Clicking on Create Snapshot creates a thumbnail beginning on the lower left of your images. These allow you to revert to an earlier stage of image correction in case you don't like what you've done currently.
Immediately after that are the Undo/Redo and Reset to Original controls which appear on the lower left of the dialog box. You can use these buttons to Undo/Redo parts of your image, or click on the Reset to Original button to reset your image to the beginning of your corrections.

Ideally you'll want to take care of light/color correction issues on location, but that isn't always possible.

Photoshop Photo Effects - Photo Edge Burn Effect

What is Edge Burning?

In traditional darkroom printing, especially in black and white, the enlarger systems used often suffered from 'fall off' (the light in the centre of an image was brighter than at the edges hence the centre of the print always had a lighter area around it.) The same is true of cameras; the camera image is brighter in the centre than at the edges. This is most evident with really wide-angle lenses but is present to some extent for all lenses.

This is commonly called 'fall off' and if you want to get really technical it can be calculated using the Cos4θ rule of trigonometry but I digress. As a rule of thumb, most lenses lose about 1/3 to 1/2 a stop of light at the edges of the image compared to the centre.

So, to compensate for negatives and enlarger problems of fall off, most expert printers use edge burning to balance the tonal difference between the centre and edge of the print. Edge burning is simply adding more tone to the edges of the image. In printing it was usual to add about 10% additional exposure time for each of the edges.

Edge Burn and Composition

Now, edge burning has another important effect and that is to do with visual perception and not deficiencies in photography. When you darken the edges of an image it holds the viewers attention into the picture and prevents the eye straying beyond the boundaries of the print or image. This is a subtle technique for concentrating attention inside the image borders.

Inner Glow to Edge Burn in one easy lesson.

One day it dawned on me that the 'inner glow' layer effect in Photoshop produces an 'edge lightening' around the four sides of an image and although this is the exact opposite of the desired edge burn, it got my brain cells sparking so I dove into the Inner Glow dialog to see what gives.

My easy Photoshop edge burn effect just needs you to change the settings for the Color, the Blend mode, and usually the Size values in the Inner Glow dialog and there you have an edge burn. Change the colour to black, the Blend Mode to Multiply, and the Size value for the width of edge burn you want.

The Opacity value can be modified down to around 5-15% depending on how obvious or subtle you want the effect to be. Sometimes I use higher values to make the edge burn very obvious and then it becomes part of the image composition and mood.

You can only apply the layer effect to a real layer (not the background so convert it to a layer) and sometimes you will need to add a new layer filled with white and blend mode set to 'Multiply' at the top of the stack to add the effect to for the best results.

There you have a very easy and controllable method of quickly adding edge burn to an image. Please note, although there is a Photoshop layer effect called 'Inner Shadow' which you may think does the edge burning job; it doesn't! This is because the Inner Shadow effect only applies the effect to two sides of the image to create a shadow and not an edge burn on all four sides.

You know how it is: You try to make an imported object larger, and it goes all blurry and pixelated. With Smart Objects, that's a thing of the past, because you can scale, warp and rotate vector graphics in a non-destructive way.

5. Do neat things in perspective with the new Vanishing Point feature.

With Vanishing point you can cut and paste in perspective. Now you're able to turn a photograph of a wall into a "virtual art gallery" with all the pictures correctly skewed, or move a window from one side of a building to another and, because the perspective is correct, have it look like it's always been there. You can also draw lines that taper off into the distance - wide nearest the camera, narrow further away - just like in "real life".

6. Get more accurate printing.

With Photoshop CS2, the people at Adobe have improved the printing workflow. Now it's even easier to configure your inkjet printer to get more accurate colour printing.

7. Customise menus and workspaces.

Photoshop CS2 lets you highlight commonly used menu items, and set up custom menus and workspaces. Now all the power of Photoshop is (literally) at your command, and can be tailored to your requirements.

8. See what each font looks like before you use it.

Finally! Photoshop gets a WYSIWYG font drop-down menu. Now you don't have to keep text highlighted while you cycle through all the fonts until you get to the right one!

I have been an entrepreneur for many years, but my greatest success has come since learning internet marketing. In the time I have been working my internet business, I have found the quickest way to make money is through affiliate sales.

The process, although intuitive, can be even easier if you follow five simple keys. From my experience, you can begin this week and see income from this one activity, giving you the ability to afford domain names and outsourcing help. Specifically, you can afford to get help with your email, article marketing, and webinar setup.

The first key to affiliate sales is to look for something to recommend to other people. Find a product that is inexpensive and is a quality item. You want to avoid anything that costs too much; instead, go with something that is reasonably priced for the average person. This way your list of people will trust your recommendations, and you can build on that trust. You will know when you have found a good product when see their sales page, and it is appealing.

The second key is to know what issues your list is looking to be solved. What I am trying to say is to figure out the problems your readers are dealing with and how you can help them. For the answers, I usually go to niche-related sites, forums, or even social networking sites to see if I can find the answer. When I am willing to do this extra bit of research, I end up with more sales because I understand where my readers are coming from.

The third key is to write out a recommendation for the product. When you do, you will want to include the following ideas: what does it do, how will it benefit your reader, how will it measure up to other products, why do you like it, is there anything you do not like about it, and what is your overall opinion? Once you have written your review, you can post it to your blog or website. The most essential element is the affiliate link; be sure you have it in your review so that you can drive traffic there.

The fourth key is to spread the word about your recommendation. Again, your blog or website is important. If you do not have a blog, I recommend WordPress or blogger. You can also send an email to the contacts in your personal or business account. They will be interested to hear about your recommendation.

The last key to affiliate sales is to utilize search engine optimization (SEO). You want to use the keywords in your recommendation that people are actually entering into Google. These will be "buyer" keywords, not just general keywords. Using the "buyer" keywords will boost your post and get your more traffic and eventually more sales.

Without a doubt, affiliate sales can be a quick way to begin earning money. If you work diligently on these steps, you will see cash flow this week.
