Golf Putting Training Aids

Forget the presumption that golf is a game for the rich and the idle. There is so much work involved in the training before you can make that perfect swing, that perfect tee. For a long time touted as a gentleman's game, there is nothing gentle about it. It is a game of vigor and energy. In golf, one action of play is as important as the other if you are to win or to enjoy your game immensely. Therefore, a putt is as important as a swing irrespective of how much power is used.

Golf putting aids are popular with professionals and amateurs because they help them to putt well and get ahead with their game. There are many putting aids on sale today but among the most common are:
1) Putting plane alignment system

There are two systems: one for the professionals and one for beginners. The former is the professional plane rail which is normally 12 inches long. This one is made in such a way that the putter/player will come in at the scientifically proven arc of 18 degrees during the swing.

The latter putting plane alignment system helps the putter to face directly behind the ball to align perfectly. With this system, there are also mirrors to help you position your hands and body perfectly as you putt.
2) Practice putting mats

If you want to virtually carry the golfing green field with you wherever you go, to the office, picnic ground and home, this golf putting aid is perfect for you and it gives you a reason to do more practice any time you have some free time. Available in various measurements, you can get what suits you most: roll it and always have it in your car. User friendly, the mats do not require any screwing or nailing to the ground: you just unroll one and start playing.

3) Putter point training device
As the name suggests, this is meant to help you to exactly pin point the center of the hole with ease and be able to align the ball perfectly. They are usually dark reddish in color such that they can contrast perfectly with the dark green of the grass. The benefit of this device is that it helps the putter align their vision perfectly and therefore even when it is removed during professional play, the putter will still be able to focus. It is easy to just drop it in the hole and it cannot damage the ball.

4) The learning curve
During the back stroke, this device is important in that it helps the putter to learn the correct and perfect stroke. It is also good for giving the golfer the needed feedback of his/ curve stroke motions and postures. During training, a red rail is fitted that helps the golfer align their posture and stroke and also helps them to know when the stroke is going to be off target. The learning curve is a very important training device.

5) Putting cups
These are bought together with the putting mats and nowadays they are battery operated to return the ball back to the player after a good putt. They can be used indoors and outdoors and they can be easily stored in the car and at home too. This device is helpful because you can make an unlimited number of puts without having to remove the balls from the hole. They help the player in improving their handicap.

6) The green reader
This is a device that is meant to help a player read and assess the speed of the ball depending on the slopes of the green and the grains. Greens are very complicated in nature; sometimes it is difficult to tell slope and thus the speed and direction of the ball. This device provides a sort of "map" which will try to show you the slope and angle of any green.

The above golf putting training aids are not the only ones because there are many more and many are still coming up with sports good manufacturers working around the clock to make golf even more exhilarating.
The game of golf is just as much a mental game as it is a physical one. If you are looking for a mental "edge" in your game you will want to see this FREE golf training product
